Every journey starts in someone’s mind. A seed planted and allowed to grow, much like the journey of coffee over time.
Jooma Coffee started as an idea founded on a passion for real, fresh coffee and an ideal to deliver that dream through our first class customer service experience.
In a country where coffee culture is just starting to find it’s feet, Jooma is helping to grow and develop our passion for Espresso based coffees in everyone through our industry leading mobile coffee stations. One cup of Jooma at a time!
It seemed only logical that we would progress to a permanent store to provide our clientele with the full Jooma Experience.
Our new store opening in Village Rd Kloof is going to be the perfect place to regroup, relax and enjoy a cup of Jooma while recharging for your busy lifestyle.
With our nutritious and exciting food menu and our decadent patisserie offering, why not pop in and revel in everything that Espresso culture can be.
Opening Mid September 2011.

Mobilizing your brand is an integral part of growing coffee branded experiences in this day and age.
When Max Cluer Sports marketing was looking for a concept to add value to this world class event, they looked no further than Jooma Coffee. With the uniqueness, presence and professionalism of the Jooma Mobile Unit, we were able to not only serve riders, crew, spectators and public but were able to bring the Gloria jeans Coffees brand to 52 countries and over 80 million people worldwide through television and internet.
Be sure to look out for the Jooma Coffee Station at the South African Mountain Bike Champs and World Cup Mountain biking over the next 2 weekends in Pietermaritzburg.
These days, thinking big is a relatively difficult quality to find. Having the ability to execute the idea is even harder.
Based on over 15 years of national and international experience working with iconic brands in the coffee industry, an entrepreneur from Durban, has returned home and decided to bring your brand of coffee to the people rather than the people to your brand.
“There is no better way to remember a brand than to interact or experience it first-hand” .
It was for this exact reason that the JoomVU (Jooma Vending Unit) was devised. “In our mind we always wanted to deliver the best possible platform from an operational perspective but at the same time – being passionate marketer s– we wanted a vehicle that would deliver incomparable brand presence to your target market.”
The JoomVU from Jooma Coffee has bridged the gap between retail and its target market. Never before has there been a technical platform to deliver world-class coffee brands to market with such poise and operational effectiveness.
The JoomVU, which is designed and manufactured in South Africa, brings a new level of sophistication to coffee mobility. Just because you are not in a hard-walled retail shop, why should consumers settle for less of an experience and even worse, a lesser cup of coffee.
The self-contained and fully functional unit needs only a 15 amp plug point to become a fully functional coffee outlet within 25 minutes and can be branded. With on board plumbing, state-of-the-art electrical interface and outstanding visual appearance, the JoomVU conquers new territory in the coffee segment.
